Overview

The Stand-Up EZ Haul Tow Dolly is designed to store upright without assistance, eliminating the need for kickstands, braces, or leaning the unit against walls. This allows the dolly to be stored in an average-sized garage while reducing concerns about where and how it can be kept when not in use.

The powder-coated steel tube frame, steel mesh platform, and stow-away loading ramps are engineered for straightforward setup, maneuverability, and storage. The long ramps support a low angle of approach to help accommodate different wheelbases and provide safer vehicle loading.

Standard tie-down straps, winches, and safety chains are included to help keep vehicles secure during transport. The overall layout is designed to be intuitive, allowing both experienced and first-time users to quickly understand loading, unloading, and storage.

When stored upright, the tow dolly maintains a compact footprint. With a required storage space of approximately 25” L × 102” W × 84” H, it can fit in many garages, carports, or storage areas without obstructing vehicles or walkways.

Steering Wheel & Vehicle Preparation

Because this is a fixed car tow dolly (the dolly does not steer), the towed vehicle’s front wheels must be able to turn freely while in motion. This is a normal requirement for fixed tow dollies and is not unique to this model.

To allow proper tracking while towing, the steering wheel must remain unlocked. This can be done in one of the following ways, depending on the vehicle:

• Option 1: Leave the Physical key in the ignition in the off position so the steering wheel remains unlocked (common on many vehicles).
• Option 2 for push to start vehicles: Place the vehicle in neutral with the engine off and disconnect the battery to prevent power draw or warning lights (often used on vehicles with electronic steering locks).Some vehicle owners choose to use an electronic steering lock bypass or memory saver device to maintain vehicle settings and prevent the steering wheel from re-locking while towing. These devices are available from third-party automotive suppliers and are typically used on vehicles with electronic steering locks.
  

The correct method depends on the specific vehicle. Always follow the vehicle manufacturer’s flat-towing or tow-dolly guidelines before transport.
