The Folding Golf Cart Trailer That Finally Fits Your Life
Full-size 5' x 10' hauling power. Folds down small enough to forget it's there. One person. No special tools.

Built for owners who have no room — or no patience — for a standard trailer
You bought the cart because it makes life easier. Quick trips, the lake, the campground. But the second you need to take it somewhere new, the problem hits: how do you actually move it?
A traditional open trailer is long, heavy, and eats half your garage and the entire side of your driveway. It's a wrestling match to maneuver by hand, and once you wedge it into storage it sits there year-round taking up space you'll never get back. For a lot of owners, the trailer becomes a bigger headache than the cart it was supposed to haul.
That's exactly who we built the Compact Caddy for. If you don't have space for a full-size trailer — or you just don't want to deal with the bulk, the weight, and the lifting — this is the trailer that changes everything.
Engineered to disappear when you're done
Heavy-Duty Steel
A rugged steel frame with a wide, stable stance and low center of gravity — built to tow true for years.
Folds Compact In Minutes
A logical, repeatable folding sequence one person can run. No second set of hands, no specialty tools.
Ramps Store On Board
Adjustable aluminum ramps stow directly on the trailer — always with you, never left in the garage.
Wide deck. Low ramp angle.
The 60" usable platform and low 17" loading height give you the room and the gentle approach to drive a lifted cart with oversized tires straight on — no white-knuckle climb, no high-centering.
From folded storage to road-ready in minutes
Every component deploys and stows in a sequence a single person can handle comfortably:
- Slide the tongue into the tow position and lock it with the included clevis pin.
- Connect the quick-connect wiring harness so your lights are ready.
- Raise the integrated stabilizer jacks with a drill or speed wrench.
- Unfold the side rails, then open the front and rear deck sections — each pins into place.
- Install the center support, attach the rear deck, hitch up, and load.

Why golf cart owners specifically love it
Handles Lifted Carts
The wide 60" deck and low 27.5" loading height load a lifted cart with oversized tires — where budget trailers can't.
Easy On Your Body
Adjustable aluminum ramps keep the load angle manageable and stay light enough to position by hand.
Grips & Drains
The mesh deck bites for traction and lets water and debris fall through instead of pooling.
Tows What You Drive
A standard ball-mount coupler hooks up to your truck, SUV, or daily driver — no special tow package.
Respects Your Space
When the haul is done, it folds away. Your garage stays a garage. Your driveway stays clear.
Versatile Hauler
Sized for golf carts, motorcycles, ATVs, lawn equipment, and general utility loads.
Assembled by Tow Smart Trailers
The Compact Caddy isn't a drop-shipped import with a logo slapped on it. It's assembled by Tow Smart Trailers, a California-based trailer manufacturer in Santa Fe Springs with over a decade of hands-on experience. From bearings to bolts, couplers to wiring harnesses — we know every component, every torque spec, and every failure point because we've built thousands of trailers across our full powersports lineup.
We got into golf cart trailers because customers kept telling us the same thing: the trailers on the market are too big, NOT being able to store, too heavy, and too much trailer for what I actually need. So we engineered an answer. When you buy from us, you're buying from a team that has lived in this industry — straight answers on fitment and real support from people who know this product down to the last clevis pin.
Frequently asked questions
Will it fit my lifted golf cart?
The 60" usable platform and low 19" deck height accommodate lifted carts with oversized tires. Send us your lift and tire dimensions and we'll confirm fitment before you order.
Can one person really set it up?
Yes — the entire deploy-and-fold sequence is engineered for a single person, with stabilizer jacks, clevis-pin lock points, and a logical order of operations. No power tools beyond a drill or speed wrench for the jacks.
Where do the ramps go when not in use?
The adjustable aluminum ramps store directly on the trailer, so they travel with you and never get left behind.
What do I need to tow it?
A standard ball-mount hitch. It connects to most trucks, SUVs, and daily drivers without a special tow package.
How small does it really get?
Folded, it's about 49¾"" long, 78.5" wide, and 27.5" tall (99" long and 29" tall with the tongue stored on top) — far smaller than a comparable fixed utility trailer.
Can it haul more than a golf cart?
Absolutely. The platform is sized for golf carts, motorcycles, ATVs, lawn equipment, and general utility hauling.
Stop borrowing. Stop storing a monster. Start hauling.
Full-size, heavy-duty hauling power when you need it — a compact, tucked-away footprint when you don't. Assembled in California by Tow Smart Trailers, designed around real owners.
