Why These Beat Generic Straps
A soft tie gets into the tight spots a ratchet hook can't reach — around the triple tree, under the bars — so the strap never bites into chrome or paint. Ours are integrated into the strap and doubled with four extra ties, so every anchor point on the bike is fabric-on-metal, never hook-on-metal.
The hooks that do the holding are coated and snap closed — they can't bounce free on a rough road, and they can't gouge a fender getting there. The rubber ratchet handles protect the trailer's powder coat while you cinch down.
Generic hardware-store straps aren't designed for motorcycles — bare hooks, no soft ties, thin webbing. These are the straps we'd put on our own bikes.
